Inaugural Down Under Ball - Sat 3rd March 2012
What:
This will be an exciting new event in the Moscow expat calendar and it is the first time the Australian and New Zealand community of Moscow will come together at a charity gala event to raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, which provides mentoring and assistance to at-risk children and adolescents.
Who:
The Australian/NZ community in Russia is diverse and motivated, well-versed in charity work and charity giving who value being able to help the communities in which they live. The community is cosmopolitan and well travelled with an interest in the world around them. We are looking at 250-300 guests. They will be mostly from Australia or New Zealand, but we do expect other expats as well as Russians to attend.
Why Companies Should Get Involved:
The event will provide your company with exposure to a unique group of people living in Moscow. Companies will have access to the substantial network of contacts of the organisers, Auski - the Australia-New Zealand social club of Moscow - and BBBS through event communications and advertising. It is also the ideal opportunity to play a leading corporate social responsibility role in Russia.
Aim of the Event:
To raise a considerable amount of money for BBBS.
Our hope is to find sponsors and donors who will cover ALL of the costs of putting on the ball, so that all ticket proceeds can go to the charity.
