Export Masterclass #1:
Export Market Research & Validation

ExportNZ Hawke's Bay in partnership with the Hawke's Bay Business Hub are proud to launch the Export Masterclass series for 2017 – a new workshop style export education event. This will allow you to develop an in-depth understanding of the topic, to build internal capability and to work through your own examples for implementation within your specific business.

Join us for a 2 ½ hour workshop where we dive deep into the topic of offshore market research and validation. Our facilitator Dan Hansen from MSM Sales Specialists will provide advice based on your business/products. A workbook will be provided for you to record and develop a strategy. The workshop will cover these key areas to enable you to undertake effective market research within your own business.
In particular we will look at the following in detail:
*  Approaches to export market research
*  Quantitative and qualitative research
*  Defining your offering
*  Understanding and validating your target customer base
*  Balance score cards
*  Refining your message or unique selling point
*  Sources of data

The core objectives are to leave with an in-depth understanding, building your capability and a workbook of your own examples that have been worked through in relation to market research and validation.

Come prepared with a product/service and an overseas market in mind that you want to export to or need assistance with – use the session to drive thoughts around your own product/service. Walk away with specific details around how you and your business can implement the right offshore market strategy.
