Business owners and senior executives looking to expand their international expertise are being invited to apply for the 2014 Prime Minister’s Business Scholarships.
The recipients of last year’s 10 scholarships studied at prestigious international institutions such as Stanford, INSEAD (The Business School For The World), Harvard, and the London Business School. Why "Made in" matters
Futurebrand has released some intersting reports on looking at the importance of a country of origin when people buy a product. They present a view on the trust people place in the origin of a product, by surveying people's views on trust, authenticity and quality standards in relation to a country. New Zealand is rated 17th in the world.
There are currently two reports available - one on the overall findings and a country specific one on China.

The Asia New Zealand Foundation’s annual Perceptions of Asia survey has found that New Zealanders consider Chinese the most valuable foreign language to learn.
Almost all (93 percent) people polled in the survey thought it was valuable to learn another language. Of those, 64 percent thought Chinese would be valuable to learn, followed by Japanese (31 percent) and Spanish (22 percent). More...
