Re-registration with the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) USA

The FDA (Food & Drug Administration) Requires All current Exporters of Food & Beverage into the USA to Re-register by 30th December, 2014.
The FDA together with the FSMA (Food Safety Modernisation Act) advises that the next Biennial Renewal Period begins on 1st October, 2014. All current valid registrations will expire on December 31, 2014 unless renewed. If you have not complied with this FDA ruling, from the 1st January 2015, your current registration will become null and void.
All exporters of Food &/or Beverage into the USA, has to be registered with the FDA. No samples; shipments; etc. will be allowed entry into the USA without FDA Registration.

All food & beverage companies who export to the USA and that:
- Pack or hold
- Own or export
- Who are in the loop "from the farm gate – port of export" MUST be registered with the FDA.
