Are you a NZ firm looking to engage in the Vietnamese market?
In partnership with ExportNZ, the Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (SEA CAPE) has designed a Market Readiness Programme on doing business in Vietnam for New Zealand businesses.
As one of Southeast Asia’s fastest growing economies, Vietnam is dynamic and bursting with potential. This workshop provides insights into the challenges and opportunities that Vietnam presents for NZ businesses.
This free, one-day workshop is interactive and allows you to connect with other New Zealand firms with similar interests.
During the workshop, you will learn about:
- Vietnam’s macro and business environments
- Cultural challenges of conducting business for New Zealand organisations
- Developments in the Vietnamese market and implications for NZ businesses
- Competitive dynamics in the Vietnamese market and how best to analyse competition
Dr Thu Phuong Truong - Senior lecturer at the School of Accounting and Commercial Law at Victoria University of Wellington.
Phuong’s research interests include financial regulation, corporate governance, corporate disclosure, corporate strategy and firm valuation, and she has been a member of the management committee of the Quantitative Accounting Research Network in New Zealand since 2012.
Dr Yuanindita Ingardya (Ardya) - Teaching Fellow at the School of Marketing and International Business at Victoria University of Wellington.
Ardya holds a PhD in Marketing and a Masters in Finance and Accounting. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Marketing Management, Contemporary Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Pricing Management. Before joining Victoria University, she worked with Kantar Millward Brown as a Senior Research Executive in Jakarta, Indonesia, providing consultations on brand strategy, advertising development and optimisation and media effectiveness. Ardya is also an avid yoga instructor and the Marketing Manager of a Hot Yoga brand in Wellington.Cost (Members):
