Are you an ambitious and motivated Manufacturing and Hi-Tech business with global growth aspirations?

We would love to see you and members of your team at our Manufacturing and Hi-Tech meetup to chat openly with fellow New Zealand exporters. Presenters for the morning include Martin Vogel, Managing Director – Hansa Products Limited who will talk about Industry 4.0  and the transformation they underwent to change traditional operations and processes using the latest smart technology.

The purpose of the meetup is to help facilitate the valuable exchange of ideas amongst the group, including an update on the year past, how that has affected business and measures put in place to continue operating on a day-to-day basis.   What does 2021 look like for your business?  We run these events virtually in a relaxed, less structured, and highly interactive environment.

Presenters:

Martin Vogel, Managing Director – Hansa Products Limited

Martin completed a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Auckland in 2004. From there he started work at Hansa Products Ltd with his father and founder Manfred Vogel. Being a manufacturing business of only Manfred and Martin, this was initially a hands on role involving manufacturing of the product as well as sales and distribution.

Martin became a shareholder in 2008 and Managing Director in 2009. Martin has since grown the business by leveraging off the brand in the marketplace throughout Australasia. Evolving the design and manufacturing process from in house fabricated components to world class 3D design with lean manufacturing production has enabled scalable growth, most recently expanding distribution into Europe and the UK.

Negotiating and transitioning manufacturing for the Australian market back to New Zealand through the Australian distributor has been a highlight. Being the driver of growing Hansa Products Ltd from a father and son duo to a team of 43 employees has required Martin to seek advice and gain knowledge in HR, health & safety, lean manufacturing, management, sales – nationally & export, marketing and finance.
